Peter Vitiello, PhD; co-PI and Program Coordinator 
Dr. Vitiello is an Associate Scientist in the Children’s Health Research Center and has an interest in redox biology as it pertains to lung development and disease. Specifically, his lab studies how changes in atmospheric oxygen concentration are translated into developmental signaling pathways required for proper growth and injury/repair processes in the newborn lung. 
Amy Elliott, PhD; co-PI 
Dr. Elliott is a Senior Scientist and Director of the Center for Health Outcomes and Prevention Research. As a child clinical psychologist, she is interested in early development and early identification of disabilities with a research focus on the role of prenatal alcohol and smoking on a variety of health outcomes including stillbirth, sudden infant death syndrome and fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. 
David Pearce, PhD; co-PI 
Dr. Pearce is a Senior Scientist, Director of the Children’s Health Research Center and Vice President of Sanford Research. The Pearce lab has a general interest in genetically inherited diseases of children with a focus on understanding the molecular basis of several pediatric neurodegenerative lysosomal storage disorders, including Batten disease.
