Biomedical Research Investigations
Curious about what it’s like to be a laboratory scientist? The Biomedical Research Investigations Program offers middle and high school students an opportunity to engage with authentic scientific questions by performing a series of connected hands-on laboratory activities.
Applications are open to students who meet the minimum age by June 1, 2019, and are accepted on a first come - first served basis. Applicants must commit to attending the entire workshop. Applicants do not need to hold a Pavilion membership to apply or attend. An activity fee of $30 for accepted applicants is due on the first day and includes a Sanford PROMISE T-Shirt. Limited scholarships are available for students in need of financial assistance. Confirmation of acceptance and additional information regarding arrival and other details will be provided one month ahead of the scheduled workshop.
Cancellations that do not occur one week in advance of the start of the workshop will be billed the $30 activity fee. For questions, please call (605) 312-6590 or e-mail Sanfordoutreach@sanfordhealth.org for further information.
