Zhiguang Guo, MD, PhD:

Scientist
The Sanford Project, Sanford Research

Dr. Zhiguang Guo brings to The Sanford Project team his expertise and experience in immunology, transplantation, pharmacology and diabetes. He was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Minnesota and Director of Basic Research at the Diabetes Institute for Immunology and Transplantation at the Schulze Diabetes Institute in Minneapolis, MN. Prior to that he was an Instructor at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center, Chicago, IL and a Research Associate in the Department of General Surgery at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI.

Dr. Guo received his PhD degree in Immunology from the University of Heidelberg, in Germany and his MD degree from Zhongshen Medical University, Guangzhou, China.
