PROMISE Community Lecture Series
Are you interested in science?  Have you ever wondered about the scientific research being performed in your own community?  The PROMISE Community Lecture Series provides a unique opportunity for science-minded individuals within our community to learn about local research projects from the scientists themselves.  Monthly lectures are provided by leading academic and industry scientists within the region.

It’s All About Science Festival

The It’s All About Science Festival is intended to be an annual celebration and exploration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics for all ages. The mission of the It’s All About Science Festival is to promote a science-centric community by showcasing all things science to the Northern Plains community. To that end we are planning a one-day inaugural event consisting of hands-on science activities, talks, demonstrations, and exhibits from student groups, educators, and STEM industries. The goal is to develop an annual free event to develop andsupport a Science-centric community.

The Science Festival will be held on July 28th at the Sanford Center in Sioux Falls from 9am-5pm. If you are interested in hosting an exhibit or volunteering for this event, please click and complete the appropriate application. All exhibitors must submit an application for review by the committee no later than 5pm on June 11, 2012.  If you have specific questions regarding the science festival, please contact us at sanfordoutreach@sanfordhealth.org.
