Shared Resources

Sanford Research provides a variety of resources for its researchers and staff.  Shared resources include core facilities for cell culture, flow cytometry, imaging, microsurgery, physiology, proteomics, virus molecular biology, and yeast two hybrid screening.  The Sanford Center also has a full Laboratory Animal Resource Facility (LARF), which enables the ethical, humane use of laboratory animals for research.  Services are provided by the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team and the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) to ensure that Sanford Research laboratories are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.  In addition, the Grants Administration staff coordinates and assists with the preparation and submission of grant applications.
